D has been suffering with a painful, bloodshot eye for the last couple of days.
she has to be careful with said eye, because her other one does not work properly, so this eye does most of the work. After ringing NHS direct & the after hours G.P., she was eventually told to visit a late night Pharmacy & ask for Chloramphenicol eye drops.
Unfortunately Letchworth is a very traditional town & observes early closing on Wednesday afternoons. That is apart from Sainsbury's, who close at 9pm & the instore Pharmacy closes at 11pm? (you have to ring a doorbell to get served).
After a running battle with the Pharmacist, who seems to spend most his time covering his backside by not wanting to provide any medication to anyone without written proof from a doctor, of what you needed (frightened of getting sued, I guess?), he sold D some eye drop & we went on our way.
We decided to have a little look around the rest of the store whilst we were there & discovered a little Gem of a bargain.
Now as you are aware, I suffer with Gout & therefore can't drink Coffee, I hate normal teas with a venom, so I wanted to give fruit Infusions a go.
In the Sainsbury's TU range, they have a little tea infuser which retails at £3, at that price I couldn't say no. Unfortunately they did not seem to have any decent loose fruit infusions to go with it, so I will have to wait until I go into town. Any recommendations?
