As I write this blog entry, I am sitting around waiting for a plumber to come & rectify some problems we have in the bathroom. Once again, we have been given a window of anytime between 12pm - 4pm. I have jobs I need to do but I can't in case they show up.
My new Zoom H2N recorder & Shock Mount / Pop Filter for the Studio microphone have arrived over the last couple of days.
All I'm waiting for now is the Soundlab Desk Microphone Stand, which is odd because the Shock mount arrived before & was sent from overseas?
Hopefully now I have the new recorder, I can make better recordings whilst out & about. The Sony that I have is OK for plugging into the mixer & recording the show on, but I'm not 100% happy with it for field recording.
The Sony has served The Garbage POD well over the last year, considering it was bought as a cheap replacement for the Tascam DR-07, after I dropped it.
The Garbage POD is now on YouTube!
One of our listeners pointed out to us, that many podcasts are now appearing on YouTube. After looking into this, I have started to transfer the shows into a video format for the YouTube generation, hopefully, that will introduce The Garbage POD to a new audience.
To take a look at our YouTube Channel by clicking on the highlighted text or by clicking on the YouTube social media button, on the top right corner of the website (next to where it says "Your Input Is Our Output")
Also, I have replaced the audio player on the last 4 Garbage POD episodes with a YouTube Player for a trial period, get in touch & let us know what you think?
Also, you would help The Garbage POD out Hugely, if you could take a minute to take part in the poll below:
