On the 1st of December 2012, Simon Pegg & Nick Frost took a break from filming & joined Santa on stage, to say thanks to the people of Letchworth for letting them take over the town for a couple of months.
Due to the filming schedule It meant delaying the Christmas lights switch on, from the fourth week of November to the first week of December, but it was worth it, to have Hollywood Stars switch them on.
